Annual Report for the Year to 31st March 2011
- The Trust was established on 4th October 1998. Its objects are to hold the freehold of Harkstead Millennium Green in perpetuity as an open space for the benefit of the whole community.
- The trustees who have held office since 10th May 2010 are:

We are deeply grateful to Norman Norris for his service (he was appointed a trustee in April 2000) and to Julian Scales who was one of our founding trustees in 1998 and has indicated that he wishes to retire with effect from this AGM.
- A full copy of the Trust Deed can be inspected by prior arrangement with the Secretary.
- The annual accounts (see below) show a surplus of £421 for the year thanks to rental income from a weekend stay of the Caravan Club.
- Use of the Green
The Green continues to be a great asset to the community, particularly in enabling us to hold large events in the Village Hall. It is understood that the Parish Council may offer to install further play equipment, and the Trustees await a proposal.
- Maintenance
We are again deeply indebted to Geoff Lusher for keeping the grass mown throughout the year, and to John Abbott for assisting with maintenance and providing fuel.
- It is intended that the AGM of the Trust will be held each year during an adjournment of the Annual Parish Meeting. At this meeting parishioners will be encouraged to express their views on the use and enjoyment of the Green, although they may of course give their views to the trustees at any time.
